I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I've driven a stick all my life too & was starting to wonder if my driving skills had regressed!
I agree re: CDV delete being a bit permanent for a lease. I've just given in and shift more slowly. I have to say, the clutch is really nice and strong; I love how it grabs with such confidence under all that torque, though I don't really like having to be so slow...
