The Audi definitely seems like it would be more appealing to the average driver, who can't drive standard very well if at all, and couldn't tell you what over-steer is correctly.
I came back from Europe a few weeks ago with a bunch of car porn, and every test in which the 1///M was compared to the RS 3, it handily won (often it was multiple car tests, not 1-1 duels, e.g. Cayman R, Evora S, Focus RS, Artega GT, etc.).
