I'm not sure you are grasping what MT lovers value in the driving experience. Certainly all changes are not progress! Consider people who grow up with FWD and tell you straight up how they are a lot better than RWD.
Also remember, if you survive, you will be an oldie before too long :-) My children would already consider you to be ancient.
