Heel/toe for me is easier, as these pedals are slightly larger than OEM.

If true, then the BMW factory Msport pedals would be illegal too. Probably not as illegal as a law enforcement detection device
Edit, the Msport ones have rubber inserts in them. IMHO they and standard pedals are very slippery after a Carwash, more so than the all metal ones with raised bits.
