From full size spare to alloy space saver

Plus... they even had it instock(!) and they were really keen in giving me a big discount IF I bought it. Which I did. I was going to get the e60 "kit" (wheel/tire and jack) but that was really expensive. I think 100 euros more, 300 euros?
Also with this alloy wheel you do not need to buy differnt wheel bolts! A big plus in my book. Who wants them rolling around in your trunk! Or trying to look for them on the side of the road!
One model space saver fits a range of BMWs including the 1-series. While the REALOEM price was okay for me, the freight cost was higher than the cost of the wheel. So I am about to order the alloy space saver alone out of Europe from http://www.estore-central.com/part/36116788203
and fit a tyre here in Australia. The freight is only 39 Euros bringing the whole thing to about AUD250. Anything to gain some space back from carrying a full 18" wheel as a spare as I am right now. LOL
