There is no difference between the 2012 M-sport bumper and the M-sport bumper offered the previous year and the year before that. Not sure why your specifically targeting a 2012 m/y bumper since they are exactly the same. The 2012 LCI 1-series' only major differences are in the headlights, taillights, and mirrors.
This entire question is moot. Just buy the (2010+) M-sport BMW offers and it'll fit.
If you want the bumper, contact Dan@United. All you need to do is give him your VIN, and incase you have further doubt (which I'm sure you do) he'll translate everything for you.
Edit: Not specific on the dates but I'm pretty sure 2010 m/y was the first year BMW offered the 128i w/ M-sport (The 135i bumper with Fogs). Either way, it's carried over.
