Even 50/50 isn't perfect. More bias towards the rear axle is better than 50/50 in higher hp cars because of improved braking and traction out of a turn. But it is also hell on the rear tires. This set up is also harder to drive. What is also important is the moment of inertia of the weight. More mass being towards the center of the car is better than at the poles.
