I did that a few years ago and will never advertise a car on those sites again. I received more scam attempts then I care to remember.
"I represent a billionaire prince who wants your car immediately. He is traveling the world and left me a check for 70K. I'll send you that check and you send me the difference..." Etc Etc.... Every day I got emails with obviously bad grammar and attempts at shenanigans. I'd rather keep it in the family (aka here).
The car is prime for someone who wants to drop an S65 in it or replace the engine themselves. The shop that is housing the car (a reputable BMW enthusiast owned company) has quoted a price of 10-11K for the completed job. For 42-43K someone could have a very good 1M.
