Yep thats the Servotronic/active steering power steering reservoir which was also an option on non M vehicles too. You have to fit a different barb to one of the lines as it is a different hose size to the standard one. Also I don't believe the cap is vented, looking at pictures of the underside of the cap it looks fully sealed. So I'm not sure if that has any ill effects on the power steering by using that cap. Servotronic system might have alternate means of pressure relief not present in standard hydraulic steering, not sure. I'd definitely look into it when I come across a car with this reservoir and there's some sort of pressure relief.
