I friend of mine ended up with diff assembly, but didn't have much information on it - so I called the manufacturer with the S/N and got some info. Here's what they told me:

We installed side seals and a Wavetrac LSD.

After searching for a bit, i'm still at a loss and hoping maybe somebody can chime in -
can I throw this unit in my 12+ N55 DCT 1er?
