I mean... you do understand that my post was intended to relay my experience to other people thinking about doing it, right? As such, I was pointing out a few of the things that I didn't love about the swap - one of which is the reduced contrast between the lettering (which appears more grey than white on my gauges) and the background when the gauge lights are off.
Does that help you understand what my "gripe" is? If not, I would be happy to discuss it further with you.
