So I carried out a quick check on the headlight with a spare bit of loom that I had. I grounded the earth pin and put 12V through all of the pins and every light illuminated. This rules out a headlight issue. I then noticed that the cars headlight plug does not have any wire going to pin 6 (main beam)
Any reason why this could be such as variation of looms fitted to E88 cars built 0408? I’m beginning to wonder if someone has been carrying out bodge repairs to this car. It would certainly explain why my research and reality are not lining up!
