After my boy was born, I still wanted a convertible with a manual transmission, NA engine, and sporting intentions (suspension, seats, etc.) to replace my S2000. But, when shopping months for one like mine, I got the impression that many 128i convertible buyers (especially the original purchasers) probably preferred automatics based on sheer numbers.
