If places like Custom Soft Trim or Katzkin create a leather pattern (replace the leatherette seat covers with a leather cover) for the 1 Series (I doubt it, because they normally don't do BMW's as they have the OEM leather option for those same seats) their price would be in the $1000 to $2000 depending on how greedy the installer is.
Their leather is pretty good quality and texture and the fit and finish of the installation and pattern is as OEM as you could find. Normally the door panels are included, and plenty of colors to chose from.
I thought about that possibility also but I will wait and see if Lemon leather will be offered in the 1 Series as a Priority 1 option. That's the only leather color that I like in the 1 Series. :w00t:
