As I was doing alot of web-surfing, I found a class action law suit for early tire wear from the run-flats and BMW's camber in the rear. Many having tires wearing out at 15k or less. The run-flat standard on the car is bad IMO. They should be am option, with a space saver tire for non-run-flats.
I haven't had a flat for ALONG time, but I have read about MANY who own BMW's complaining about getting flats EASY with the OEM run-flats. Many getting them very soon after taking delivery.
