Installed the cusco STB just few hours ago. The nuts under the OEM bar on the driver side could be taken out without removing anything.
All you have to do, loosen the nut all the way, use some strength and pull up the OEM bar; while pulling the bar up, slide out the nut. Putting back in is harder tho, so grab yourself a third hand to do the pull up while you inserting the nut.
Please be advice not to drop the nut while in or out. Would be a pain to if you do drop in!
