I first changed my oil at; 2,400 kms, then 5K kms, then 10K, then every 6K to 8K kms after that. I know that is probably over kill, but I sleep better at night!  I think since our cars are DI and have long OCI's I would rather pay a little bit more (now) for more frequent oil changes than to have a lot of carbon buildup later on.

Hey you seem to know a lot on BMWs ! I was wondering what kind of tires do you use ? What do you think of going with non runflats ? I don't really enjoy the potenza re050 with their short tread wear !
