Yes, our 2009 135i coupe had no tint when delivered.
However, we were hit with a rock from a passing car that resulted in a 4" crack, so we had the window replaced w/ insurance coverage (not installed by a BMW dealer).
The new window is tinted at the top, but otherwise is the same as far as I can tell.
Having a new window after 7K miles of miscellanous minor chips, etc. was real nice.
I like the tinted version better myself.
Looks nice.
I think a "low rider" like the 135i really picks up lots more window nicks in routine driving compared to my Honda Pilot.
