Has my first major service today. I had both rear lights changed months ago and the SA and I had a bit of a giggle about it. He tells me (now) that I was one of the first in WA and how they didn't know of the fault until I told them.
He also told me that the fault was caused by gases emitted from the LED's, which then caused problems with the seals around the light assembly causing them to fail and let in damp air, moisture etc which then corroded some parts. Whatever...
