Joe, In suspension theory you are correct.

However, this does not mean that everyone with KWs should have their rear shocks set more firm than their front struts.

I am sure KW likely tested the E82 chassis and recognized the understeer issue and worked to minimize it through tuning. Thus my feeling is that the stock KW spring rates and front / rear damper valving is setup to keep understeer minimized without the need to add significantly firmer rear damping.
