why not try it and see if you like it? i bought off the lot too, and i got options i wouldn't have gotten, but i'm very glad i did.
as to your question - i'm pretty sure no-one has done it yet, but people can probably speculate about how you would go about it. my advice would be to go talk to a shop that specializes in bimmers.
