1st timers on the track had to go out with an instructor until signed off. Experienced lappers could lap on their own.
There are a number of other clubs that do track days at Mosport, including Apex Driver Training and Dexter Autosports.

My friend's Cayman S is stock other than R-compound tires (Toyo RA1)that he uses for the track. My car is stock from a drivetrain/chassis point of view, but I was running with Dunlop Direzza Star Spec street tires.
My friend indeed is a very capable track driver.
