As far as coming from Audi and Volkswagen cars, I think you'll find the BMW refreshing. I owned a B6 S4 6-speed once and it was a miserable experience.

Sorry to hear that. I actually owned my B7 S4 longer than any other car I’ve owned. It was the most reliable and the most enjoyable out of them all. Not much beats and AWD, 6Spd, V8......those early B6’s can be a nightmare though.
