We had a strict private BMW US preview the other week. Before the tragedy of Mr Pitney and before the car was taken to Wisconsin.

My condolences to friends and family of Mr. Pitney who looks to have been a great man and certainly bound for many more great accomplishments. It was definately too soon. It's sad to see such tragedy in the same breath as such great news. A bittersweet time for BMW NA for sure. R.I.P.
The 1er looks astounding. I am with the rest of the guys that say they hope it performs well enough to justify switching from a modded 135i.
So far the asthetics don't seem to be lacking.
