I'd be surprised if anyone who claims to love manuals would end up satisfied by a DCT.
The DCT shift speed is terrific and the car is fun to drive, but on a car like this I don't think there's any way a DCT can compare to a manual when it's just a question of spirited driving. I have a DCT and don't regret it, but it's mostly a practicality thing of not having to drive a stick in city traffic all the time.
