I put the foam in, and while it did make an improvement it didn't solve the problem. I had tried putting something soft on the hinge where the rest sits before and that didn't help either. I think its a combination of all of the above, because the foam inside definitely made a different, but the squeak is still there (mostly with an arm on the rest).
