^^yes, that is the trade off. These eco tires don't handle as well... and the main thing about them is the stopping distances are MUCH longer than normal tires. But they do extend the fuel economy of the engine, thru less rolling resistance.

I don't think the average driver of a ActiveE is going to be pushing their car to the limit. They are instead looking for an alternative "city car".
