Not entirely specific to the 1 series, but it does look like we'll be getting that sweet steering wheel (it only specifically says its available for the 3 series however, I'm just thinking down the road... in Canada at least).

Though the Press Release doesn't give away much, there seems to be quite a few 1 Series performance parts in the images, including a Limited Slip Diff, Cross Drilled Rotoes, the F1 Steering wheel, etc. Its all available from the BMW Canada Press Club webpage

Holy cow, it certainly looks like there will be a clutch pack limited slip... doesn't really matter if not available officially in the US, if it's a genuine BMW part...

Wow. Control arms, struts/springs, LSD and intake - could it really be that simple?
