Hey, There are no engine issues with the 128i. If it doesn't have NAV, sirius is an expensive upgrade, I think the head unit would need to be changed. If the car has iPod integrating you can def connect your iPhone. My 2010 has HD radio, no clue if it was standard or part of the premium package. One thing that I would say is a must have option on the 128i is the sport package.
