i was actually thinking the same thing when i read that. hopefully theyve figured out a way to do something based on the S52 (i think thats the code, 3.2l E46 M3 engine, whatever) that is more in accordance with the efficient dynamics programme and has a couple neat little N/A tricks up its cylinder sleeve. (WISHFUL THINKING: better mpg than N54) i could see that replacing the 135i and providing a perfect little full-M 1er, lsd, alum panels, flared fenders, all those little performance pack goodies. call it whatever you want to call it. then the 2011/F20 gets into the full blown tii business with some TT 4cyl action.
