OH? Is it because of that so called supercar from 30 years ago? That none of the new generation BMW will ever see and many new BMW owners ages 20 to 30 never heard about? Or is it the fact that the so called supercar was as fast as todays family cars? With a production of about only 400 cars.....No one but the flower power generation really cares
..lol Anyways , I can understand why some BMW historians would prefer to keep the M1 title for that 1 special car with limited production...but I really don't see why many refer to it as a supercar...it never was...not even for a 1978 model. Any historians out there that can put this into a different perspective for me, please do.
