Personally, I find the open feature much more useful. When I'm approaching my car it's nice to have the windows rolled down by the time I get to it - it really helps to cool down the interior a bit when the car has been sitting in the sun. When I arrive to wherever I'm going and park, part of my routine always involves putting up the windows, which is really simple with the one-touch up feature. For me, I don't think the "comfort closing" feature would be terribly useful.
