135i perfromance brakes on 128i rear
Posting here, previous info was discussed and critiqued here.
Installed 135i brakes with F30 backing plates with Motul 5.1 brake fluid
F30 backing plates do not need to be cut, you can bend away that 1 inch triangle
Rear is not 100% bolt on as has been said.
Need to trim backing plate around caliper AND need to make 1 inch incisions in it all around to bend it out like flower petals. Otherwise it rubs against the rotor.
Performance is increased, stops are more sudden. Don't know if its fresh OEM brake pads and rotors or the whole package.
Handbrake fix is to come over time. I have some ideas.
