I recommended to BMW in my customer survey resposne that they create an Online sales outlet - where they could pass the savings on to the consumer and increase there sales of cars. They could even put the demos or stock cars on Ebay like the yanks do.

Independent Service dealers then provide the support via central parts warehouse.

But i think the still believe the Hype that the dealership experience is still something customers need.

The amount of reviews, forum's & other information available dealers are really becoming obsolete IMHO.

My experience recently

Kloster were very keen, but walked away.
Northshore were unintertsted to begin with
Col crawford tried hard but were strange to deal with and pissed the wife off
Trivett not keen at all

Bottom line is the personality of the sales person, if they want your business they will get it. I am sure some of them just like the ambience of the showroom though and free car to drive.
Get a good one and stick with them -
