Exclamation German Christmas Markets...

Weihnachten Markts…

I thought I would share with you some of the sights of winter and Christmas time in Germany. Almost every city has a Christmas Market. You can find delicious eats (glühwein, stollenkuchen, bratswurst, ect..) and special hand made gifts for your loved ones. Here are some of my favorite Weihnachten Markets.

I personally think Nürnberg’s is the nicest Christmas Market in Germany. With Dresden & Erfurt’s close behind. Strausbourg’s (France is also very nice) Many of the Christmas markets in and around my area (Bayern) are very nice. You really can not go wrong with visiting some of them. Kind of like the Beer… the Germans just don’t make bad beer! (or.. wine for that matter!) Get out there and try some!

On a side note… a good German friend of mine pointed out this famous flag maker of Coburg. This company supplied Hitler with all his top flags. Seems Hitler’s early years had its roots in Coburg.
