I did that the first year I moved to San Francisco. My GPS almost killed me!

LOL exact same thing here! GPS told me to turn left and girlfriend is screaming go left go left so I checked oncoming and it was clear then BAM wall of cars facing me haha. It's pretty stupid though as there wasn't a no left turn sign at the street or a directional arrow showing it was a one way... Nevertheless we are alive and no car damage occurred
