Mine is not a euro spec, if that matters any. I heard/read 5th gear is closest to 1/1 ratio, so it's best to do pulls in 5th. Who knows and really, who cares? The link below disputes the theory. So, to answer your question....no. I, too, have heard of shops that don't like the high speeds on their dyno. Not sure why? Safety?
