I live in the snowiest city in the US.

It all depends on how much snow you get at any given time.

If you are prone to sub 3" snowfall get skinnier tires

If you are prone to greater than 3" get larger tires

Dunlop wintersport 3Ds are the best tire that I've personally owned with the 135 I've also had pirelli 240 sottozeros and blizzacks.

I run a 225 square setup and I have no issues. It's not like you're driving hard enough in the winter that the differences matter. I have run a 255 in the rear (that was with the pirellis) and it's not as great in heavy snow as the 225 setup

But whatever you do run a square setup in the winter. Rotating tires is a great thing to be able to do

And before anybody jumps on me I do care about the way that my car drives. I run a 245 square setup in the summer
