From what i've learned, preping the surface area before install is so crucial. I'd wash the area with a mild dishwasher soap/water first and wipe dry. Then wipe area down gently with rubbing alcohol to remove any oil etc.

Applying adhesion promotor helps alot, but a technique i've seen some shops do is use a heat gun to apply some heat on the area of the spoiler with 3M automotive tape already applied.
