Not sure on the exact weight savings as I did not weigh the factory hood but the Vorsteiner double sided on my car shaved around 20lbs. I cannot suggest the Seibon unit, I have seen it side by side to the Vorsteiner and the fit and finish on Seibon is terrible to say the least. Even with adjustments, it never sits right.
