I don't know if this is still the case. But when I bought my car in 2008 - when you added the things that are options on the 128 yet standard on the 135. Xenons, sport suspension, etc. the gap in price actually shrunk to less than $2000.
So as my dad put it when I asked him the same question that you just brought up he said.
"why not get the fast one?"
