Today while I was poking around the
www.1erforum.de I did see two blackline light listed. One is referred to as "basic" and one as "high" as in Highline(I think). Just like for the e87 four door hatch, BMW makes a LOW and a HIGH line version. Most people seem to like/buy the highline version.
I can not tell the difference between the these two lights. Maybe it is the way the LEDs are arranged like for the e87 Blacklines.
Here are the part numbers for both e82 LCI Blacklines...
