~$3k in OEM parts from Reeves BMW

~$6k in labor and paint

The reason why I wouldn't do the conversion. Not worth it in my opinion. IF I have 10k cash lying around then I certainly wouldn't mind, but I have other priorities. So as long as my car takes me from point A to B, and some tracking on the side, then I'm good, for now. Maybe in the future.

Thank you for sharing all the info! Question though, how much weight do you think the conversion added?
Neither of us are sure how much additional weight we added.

The quarters added some additional metal and a little bit of filler but they wouldn't add too much weight. I lost a lot of weight in wheels and gained some in tires. Ill be weighing my entire car next month and comparing it to a stock 135i.

This mod really requires a lot of commitment. To me, the conversion is more of a functional modification and all of the suspension and m3 bits and diff are modded to support it.
You can look the part, or you can look and play the part.
