Yes, the dyno measures the HP(or PS) at the wheels. But... in Germany dyno graphs corrects this figure to be estimated at the crankshaft(or clutch). In the states they just say WHP. But in Germany everyone wants to know how much PS is at the engine.

So... that 322 PS figure is at the CRANK, not the wheels.

322 PS (DIN) = 317 HP (SAE)
465Nm = 343 ft/lbs


Looks like you got a good strong engine!


BMW says the 135i has 300 HP (SAE) or 306 PS (DIN) or 225Kw. Just different ways to say the same thing.

DIN PS = SAE HP * 1.0142

SAE HP = DIN PS * 0.9860
