Seems that way with mine too. To be objective, I did some measuring and the drone is around 84 decibels at the moment. Just under the drone range it is 72 decibels.
The car is actually as loud up in the higher rev range - but it's just the normal loud exciting sounds - ie no problem with that.
Will measure it again in a week's time and see what we get.
