Couple of questions.

First what is the size of the pipe? I keep thinking the single outlet from the muffler should be about 3 inch diameter to match the two pipes coming into it in cross sectional area.

Second, I don't understand what the Y is about. Are you dumping part of the exhaust under the car? If so, why and what about safety?
