I was familiar with the carbon buildup issue when I was shopping RS4s but despite browsing this and other forums, I'm still a bit in the dark as far as how important this mod is (e.g. on a scale of 1 to 10) to N54 longevity? Would anyone consider this to be something along the lines of The Single Most Important Modification if one plans on keeping the car for a long time?
