I have tried this Armorall stuff on my wheels...on the 135i and the Elise (which also produces a great deal of brake dust!). I can safely say it is excellent and does keep the brake dust off the rims!
Some tips: you must have very clean wheels to begin with, spray on with a FULL even coverage, wait an hour or so (I waited a day) then coat with another light coating, wait for that to dry for say an hour then you can drive.
Only downside is the can is small and there are not many applications in it.
In short, this stuff is AMAZING!
