It's certainly one of the factors, but the wheel design has a lot to do with it as well.
When talking about offset numbers as high as these, you are talking about wheels that are going to have to have almost no lip (no deep dish type wheels). So wheels like the VS7 and VS8 that have the spokes coming out to the outer rim surface are the kinds of wheels that are going to work.
