The 2010 model year 128i uses a 433Mhz tpms sensor. This is the same sensor as was used for 2008 and 2009 model years as well.
If you have a 2011 model year 128i that is built on or after 9/2010, that will take a newer 433Mhz sensor that is not compatible with the pre 9/2010 build cars.
